I was so happy when I open my acceptance letter into UMass Biology in the College of Natural Sciences! I remember seeing the email from UMass admissions about a status update on my portal for my Early Action application. I quickly grouped with my siblings and we all looked at our decisions privately. We all got in, so I was very relieved. My brother got into their Honors college, so we were very happy for him. I began to share the news to my friends who congratulated us three.

I remember writing the supplemental essays and filling out the Common App for UMass and all the memories I made from working on my applications with my siblings. Getting accepted into UMass Amherst will have a special place in my heart because it was my first college acceptance ever. However, there's much more to come. This is just the beginning.
