Sunday School Blog #10
Best one yet!
Last Sunday, I was met with bad news: the church youth group took all the mics, amps, and speakers and transported them to a different room, where the youth group messages took place. This meant that we, the Sunday School worship team, had no more mics and speakers to use for our worship sessions. I was stressing last week, wondering how I could improve the situation. I thought about buying own amp and mic, but it was too late for that. I came in the youth group room (I guess i should say the old youth group room), a little worried as of what would happen.
I cracked open the door and I was met with 3 amps, one mic, and everything perfectly set up! Dave and Judy even showed up to help (bass and singing respectively). I was genuinely shocked. God was providing even when I knew nothing of it. Lena brought in the 2 amps, so Dave and I could plug in our instruments. We sang Yes I will, Gratitude, and Great Things. The kids were so loud for each song, but my favorite was Gratitude. Some the kids literally "threw up their hands" (iykyk) and sang their hearts out. Lena, Dave, Leland, and I were all in sync, beautifully singing worship to our God who provided. This is true reason why we sing praises because He is so good to us. He is the in working, so it is just our job to trust in Him.
