School Blog #3
Catching up on many events!
There's a lot that happened in the past few weeks.
Basketball season started, I got a new role in drama, did a lot of school activites as Vice President, and played a whole lot of guitar during Chapel and on Sundays. Basketball practices are grueling, but fun because we bond as a team and always support each other. Currently, I play as a guard and scoring in games have really been a grateful moment. We worked hard together and hang out outside the court, forming memories as we converse about anything on our mind. We do homework right next to each other, study basketball plays as a group, and stretch before practices which ties us into a family. Our team chemistry and diligence is giving us a 3-1 record coming into Christmas break. We will face more challenging opponents soon so that will very exciting!
As the school Vice president, I set up the school bulletin board during Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons and organized the hot cocoa drive where we served the middle and high school cups of warm hot coca with toppings. As the student government, we also set up seasonal holiday themed days, for example Flannel Day in the fall or Red and Green Day in the winter. We brought back the gingerbread-making contest on the last day of school before break where each grade constructed gingerbread houses out of graham crackers and vanilla frosting piecing together tall ceilings and decorative exteriors. It was very fun and it was a huge success.
With the worship team, I picked Christmas songs to sing on Wednesdays and performed extremely well in front of the high school. It brings me immense joy to share music to the audience!
P.S. I also designed the 2nd grade yearbook pictures the CCA Yearbook program, and figeting with the customization was not difficult at all.
