Milford Regional Blog #1

My second day at Milford Regional was a scavenger hunt, where the volunteers would look for hidden goody bags with objects to familiarize themselves with the departments in the hospital. A tour guide just told us where the bags were hidden and lets us off to go. I was confused as of where the departments where, I forgot where the OR was and getting to the Hill building felt like a maze. After the tour, I was grouped up with two girls to find the hidden objects in the medical center. But one literally left mid-shift, so it was like up to two of us to find all the items. Thankfully, my partner wrote notes! (literally a lifesaver) Most of hallways had signs pointing to different rooms, so we could find most intuitively. As we walked down the halls and went up elevators, we chatted and talked about college, school, sports, etc. even though it was the first time we met each other. Conversing, in my opinion, makes anything more enjoyable.
