Finished collecting data for the research paper!
I knew today would be a lighter day because work ended at 4 and there were not a lot of patients on the schedule. However, I got to learn new things in that short time. I added a new patient for the first time. (I didn't do it correctly, but I'm learning!) I also undertook the task of compiling sheets to form a new patient information packet. Personally, it was better and less tiring than scanning because I didn't have to type any patient information on the computer or tediously place a sheet into the scanner. Bundling up the seven sheets of paper into one packet and listening to the satisfying click of the stapler doing its job made me derive enjoyment in small, negligible tasks.
I called few offices, but as a group, my siblings and I finally finished compiling the data we needed for our research paper! All the hard work paid off and I felt so relieved. All the five minute phone calls, website searches, and back strains from being hunched over were gone for once! But the research process is not just over here. This is just the first step. I need to overcome all the steps.
