Internship Blog #6

99.4 degrees.

Ugh. I'm gonna get a fever. Today, I stayed home because I was very sick ( I think there's a virus going around). My arms were flabby and I didn't do much work. I called offices, but definitely not the amount I should've done. Obviously, I was not at the front desk, so I did not do any scan paperwork or check in patients. I just sat at home and called offices who, most of the time, did not pick up or did not have Medicaid; times were pretty rough. I learned that even though I'm sick and I want rest, I got to push through and fight through boredom and hardship. Sickness should not stop me from doing things that will impact me later on.
