Typical day but tiring

Coming off the weekend, I was tired when I walked in the office. I scanned a couple of medical update forms and watched over the front desk. After the first hours of the shift, I worked with my siblings and organized a list of dental offices to call for our research paper. We had to compile 20 offices from each country into a list and call them if we had time. Thinking this wouldn't be so tiring, I went right to work. I found 20 offices in Vermont and began calling. Calling the dental offices from a different state was not easy. Many of the calls were disconnected to the dental office or someone wouldn't even pick up. Even though calling 20 offices did not sound like a lot of work, it was. I was frustrated when I constantly heard: 'Call Disconnected".

However, the more I called, the more I became patient. I learned to wait even if you only get a little done. I realized that getting the task was important, but learning lessons along the way is even more valuable.
