Internship Blog #18

Today was another day without Laura, so I managed the front desk with Cara. I prescribed 3 patients today, and all just needed amoxicillin, so everything went smoothly. I just had to say the patient's name and date of birth, office NPI number, and the prescription details. Luckily, our office has all the signatures and medications written on a stamp, so I could refer to that when calling. I scheduled almost all the appointments today, finding cleaning spots in February/ March- (can you believe it!) God is really blessing this business that I can be a part of. I also scheduled root canal appointments as well as other procedures that the dentist does.

I called, scanned, communicated, wrote down appointment cards. I can never take for granted the front office role because there is a lot that goes with it.
