I was met with unexpected circumstances when there were three open spots for a cleaning in the morning! Turns out, they were for us three. Cara was first, then me, then Caleb. When it was my turn, I lied down on the familiar dental chair, the one I used to wipe down and clean a lot. Laima, the hygenist, began to scrape the back teeth thoroughly, which wasn't too bad. Then, she reached the molar areas. They weren't as good at the rest of the mouth. She applied more force because those teeth weren't 100% straight. (She said I had great teeth; trust me they're straight, just not insanely straight..) No dentist's kid would have bad teeth. It's a general rule.
Back to the story. So the molar areas weren't great, but my front teeth were fine. Laima told me the difference between both heads of the scaling tool (one for deeper areas, and the other for closer ones). It was cool to gain insight into the profession of my choice. One time during the cleaning, my saliva started piling up in my mouth, but she wouldn't stop scaling. I tried manning up, but she wouldn't let me rinse. Though it wasn't that big of a deal, having of spit in your mouth is not pleasant. At the way end, Laima said my teeth were great; after all I'm the dentist's kid.
