Internship blog #1

Today, I began interning at dad's dental office. Being inexperienced, however, did not stop me from learning in this new environment. I learned a lot from the front desk. They use the app Easy Dental and the front desk helped me navigate through the app's confusing parts. I learned how to add new patients, check in patients, and scan medical updates. I also had the freedom to call other offices and do the extremely long process of calling insurance companies lol. It was a good, but tiring first day at the front desk. I tried to talk and socialize with the patients, but most did not feel like chatting.
