The joy from blessing others

Coming back from two weeks off of denture cleaning, I was excited to arrive. As I walked down halls, the reminiscent smell brought back memories from before. I met the lady on the first floor whose denture I cleaned, knowing she would remember. Obviously, she did and we had a small coversation. Second floor was not as successful, because some were sleeping and others did not want me to clean their dentures. (How ironic right?) The third floor was far more successful than I expected. The nurse at that floor helped my sister and me get the senior citizens we thought we had no access to. I greeted the ones I knew from before, each enthusiastically welcoming me back. One of them, quickly remembered who I was and thanked me continuously. She wanted to pay me, but I declined and said I only came to serve others. "Oh, May God bless you!" she said. "When God blesses you, you gotta bless others." I replied. We took a picture to capture this memory. Oh wait, I forgot to mention: I'm trying to take a picture with each of the elders I can and bring them a picture. Promsing a Polaroid in return, I joyously walked out of her suite.
