Totally unexpected outcome in this tour! Today, I toured Cornell University!

As I left the car from a long 6 hour drive, rain fell periodically. But I did not know I would love the campus despite the weather.

The campus was huge, and when I walked to the Tang Building, I was met with a "waterfall" as I like to call it: it was a dam one of Cornell's founders designed. It was awe-inspiring. Never saw anything like that at a campus before. Then our family was matched with a tour guide, and he did a phenomenal job. He explained how the buildings are huge and spread apart so each program at Cornell is its own campus (community!). Though some of the buildings were beat down and old, the scale of the structures and museum-like qualities really captivated my interest. The tour guide was going to major in Hotel Management so he did talk about unique classes like ice cream making and wine making. We went inside the indoor gym, which looked sick. It was super wide open and the indoor track looked solid. The only downsides in my opinion is the distance from home and the amount of walking required to go from class to class. But I absolutely loved the colors (red!), and somehow the white hoodie with the red lettering looked phenomenal. I also loved the atmosphere and all I got was good vibes especially when the tour guide did a good job. At the end of the tour we were ona hill that overlooked the city of Ithica which looked so pretty. Overall, I believe Cornell is a great school; it truly matches my interests and I am literally so obsessed with the red merch!
